Research project Human+ investigates signs of future migration movements
The German-Austrian project HUMAN+ develops an integrative real-time situation report for migration movements. This results from the data of social networks and remote sensing to enable prediction of migration and manage urgent cases.
The ethical, sociological and legal framework as well as the integration into existing solutions and process chains play an essential role. The system facilitates the detection of migration movements at an early stage, thus enabling emergency services to prepare accurately to the expected situations and at the same time provide the migrants with the best possible and human care.
The Federal Ministry of Education and Research funds the project over a period of two years (Grant number: 13N14716 - 13N14723).
